STEFAN PAUL SANCHEZ (ARAM) ARTISTIC DIRECTOR,

Stefan maintains a balanced career as an international opera singer, producer, director and teacher and has toured throughout most of the Western and Eastern world. He formed The European Chamber Opera in 1992. Stefan studied singing and piano at the Royal Academy of Music, London, graduating with distinction. He also studied at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama and the Escuela Superior de Canto in Madrid. He was a student of International Voice Teacher Peter Harrison for over a period of 20 years.

EUROPEAN CHAMBER OPERA
In 1992-To Present Day Stefan founded The European Chamber Opera: PATRON MONTSERRAT CABALLE.ECHO has toured throughout UK, Europe, Asia, UAE, The Gulf and the USA and has employed many young singers, directors, designers and orchestral musicians to allow them a professional platform at the most crucial stages of their development as international artists. The company performed both in Theatres throughout UK as well as Stately Homes. Palaces, Embassies, Museums etc. They gave approximately 150 performances of five different operas annually over an 18 year period. They also toured frequently to Europe and USA.

In 1998 Stefan became the Founder Artistic Director of Holland Park OPERA. During his tenure he created a five year plan which radically altered the attitude to core repertoire. He inaugurated the AMEX prize for singers. Through his groundbreaking work Holland Park Opera is now the most prestigious London Opera Festival.
LONDON CITY OPERA TOURS TO USA
2001 He became the Artistic Director London City Opera. He formed collaboration with Columbia Artists and for two consecutive years toured “Merry Widow” and “Madam Butterfly” throughout the USA. The tours covered 28 States giving over 68 performances in Three Months.

THAI OPERA IN LONDON
2011 Stefan was responsible for the transfer of Mae Naak to the Bloomsbury Theatre in London. We enabled 70 singers and musicians to travel to London to take part in the production.
TEACHING and MASTERCLASSES.
Stefan has organized a number of international masterclasses in London, Spain and Seville and Dubai bringing together some of the most prestigious teachers and coaches from Teatro Real Madrid, English National Opera, Covent Garden. Teatro Colon (Buenos Aires- Argentina) and Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Stefan and his prestigious group of international coaches have taught many young professional singers from all over the world.
Stefan is in constant demand as a singing teacher and coach at his studio in Asoke. He works tirelessly to help young Thai opera singers. He continues to Produce, Direct and Sing. He also conducts international master classes.
